Lulu's Cafe, Mullumbimby

Resting under the shady leopard trees, Lulu’s is a vibrant cafe at the heart of the Mullumbimby community. Sustainability is central to our food philosophy and we use locally and organically sourced ingredients wherever possible. We serve modern vegetarian food with an emphasis on fresh, fresh, fresh! Our coffee is freshly roasted and customers can choose between our organic, original, and decaf blends.

Lulu’s has live music playing every Saturday from 11am to 1pm (unless it’s raining) and we exhibit the work of local artists in the cafe.

Many years ago in Naples, Italy a tradition was born... Espresso Sospeso translating as ‘suspended coffee’. The idea is simple. Someone goes into a cafe, bakery, restaurant and pre-purchases a coffee or food. This is then a ‘suspended coffee’ someone in need can then go into the business and ask if they have any suspended coffees. They are then provided with warmth and nourishment at no cost to themselves.

So pop into Lulu‘s, grab a coffee, and if you have a few spare bucks in your pocket pay it forward one coffee at a time.
